Proceq takes over sales and distribution of Tapio paper roll testing instruments

Proceq SA, a Screening Eagle Technologies company and market leader in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) technologies, has signed an exclusive distribution and OEM agreement with Finland-based Tapio Technologies. This strategic move will allow the market for paper roll testing to be better served with a complete portfolio of high-precision instruments.

From today onwards, Proceq markets and sells Tapio’s top of the range instruments under the Proceq brand and the name of RQ8000 Paper Roll Tester. The RQ8000 complements Proceq’s current portfolio with PaperSchmidt and Equotip 550 Leeb U instruments and together offer the most comprehensive range of paper testing possibilities. Meanwhile, Tapio will focus on development and production while continuing to provide high-quality instruments.

Customers around the world can now benefit from Proceq’s global reach and well-established sales and service network, with over 200 partners and a presence in more than 100 countries.

With its superior measurement performance and its versatile interfaces, the RQ8000 line is a perfect match for Proceq’s paper roll portfolio and contributes to Screening Eagle’s strategy to digitize inspection and quality testing.
